Based on the survey results from 2021 to 2025, there is a noticeable difference in truck ownership between pet owners and households without pets. Here's a quick breakdown of the key findings:
• Among pet owners, 21% reported that they are current truck owners, compared to only 12% of individuals in pet-free households.
• Additionally, 33% of pet owners said they have never owned a truck, whereas this figure rises to 45% among pet-free households.
These differences suggest that households with pets are considerably more likely to currently own a truck and less likely to have never owned one compared to those without pets. The remaining response categories ("Former, not current Truck Owner" and "Future Truck Owner") are more similar between the two groups, with minor differences.
In summary, current truck ownership is almost twice as high among pet owners as it is among pet-free households, indicating a strong association between pet ownership and truck ownership in this survey.
